About Us
We didn't set out to build a book company.
We set out to solve a problem almost every family has. The people we love most rarely just tell us their story. Not because they don't want to, but because no one ever asks the right questions, at the right time, in the right way.
So we built one. A simple, guided journal designed to make it easy for a parent to open up, one question at a time, in their own words, at their own pace.
What started as a gift for our own families turned into something bigger once we saw how people responded. Parents who'd never written more than a grocery list filled entire chapters. Families who hadn't had a real conversation in years found themselves talking for hours over a single page. Adult children learned things about their parents they never knew, stories that had simply never come up because nobody had ever asked.
That's the whole idea behind Arryal. Not another generic gift. A way to capture something that can't be replaced once it's gone: a person's actual voice, their memories, their story, in their own handwriting.
We believe every family has stories worth preserving. We just help make sure they actually get told.
